Pas Hand talks about his offers

Philadelphia (Pa.) West Philadelphia Catholic defensive tackle and tight end Derrell Hand is one of the top prospects in the eastern half of the Keystone state. So it's no surprise that many schools are in hot pursuit.
"I have some offers," Hand said. "Off the top of my head Notre Dame, Boston College, Michigan State, Iowa, Syracuse, Rutgers, Wisconsin, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Connecticut, and Purdue have offered."

"Iowa, Boston College, Notre Dame, Syracuse, and Wisconsin, those five offered in writing."
"Penn State's recruiting me. I've been up there. I like their campus. I like the feeling I get there."
"July 12 or 13 I'm going down south to see North Carolina, North Carolina State, and Georgia Tech."
"Later on this month I'm going to visit Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, Iowa, and I think Wisconsin too."
The 6-foot-2 and 305 pound Hand has been a varsity starter at both defensive tackle and tight end since his sophomore year. Hand was an all-catholic league selection on offense and a second team selection on defense. However he is being recruited a bit more as a defender. Hand registered eight sacks his junior season.
