Parr waiting for more offers

Defensive tackle Zane Parr still holds two offers from Connecticut and Temple. The 6-foot-4, 285-pounder out of Williamsport, Pa. is hoping for more from a couple of his leaders.
"I'd say I don't really have any leaders, but if anyone is leading it would probably be Michigan and Virginia," he said. "That doesn't take anything away from my offers. I do like them from Temple and Connecticut too."

Parr went to Michigan recently and is hoping for an offer from the Wolverines.
"I want to get an offer from them, that would be great, but if it doesn't happen that's cool too. I do believe they are close to offering though," he said. "Meanwhile, Virginia has said they are going to offer me. They are still dealing with the paperwork and checking out my grades before it comes in writing."
As for a decision, Parr would like to do it soon.
"Hopefully I can get it out of the way before the school year starts, that would be nice," he said. "If not that's fine because I have a lot of time to look through my schools."
Currently Parr is preparing for the upcoming season.
"We're starting two-a-days in a week or so," he said. "At this time, I'm just going over defensive plays and improving my ability. I can already tell I'm quicker and stronger than last year and my knowledge of the game is a lot better too. This season I really want to work on improving my speed even more and getting off the line better."
Parr earned first team all-district honors after registering 56 tackles and four sacks as a junior.
