Colby Parkinson has emerged as one of the top 2017 tight ends in the country after a phenomenal junior season and he has seen his recruitment take off in recent months. Top programs from across the country are showing interest and many others are getting involved as well. There are no favorites yet but Parkinson is definitely going to have plenty of options.

WHAT'S NEXT?: The Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian standout has been busy picking up offers with Nebraska and Oregon State being the two newest but many others have poured in recently as well. Parkinson said of the schools that have not offered yet that Penn State and Oregon are talking to him the most.
IN HIS WORDS: "(No favorites) so far. I'm just taking my time until I feel God lead me one way or another."
RIVALS' REACTION: Parkinson could definitely go the local route since USC and UCLA have already offered and former Oaks Christian teammates have been at both schools. Numerous SEC programs and other major schools are also involved and there's no question Parkinson is giving them a serious early look as his recruitment continues.
