Parkinson on board with offer

Colby Parkinson has one offer from the Pac-12 so far and others are showing interest in the 2017 tight end from Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian.
"Washington is my only offer right now," Parkinson said.

"I love Washington. They were talking to coach (Bill) Redell about me. He gave me their number and I called them up and they said they're really excited about me, they wanted to be the first to offer me and they wanted to get out ahead.
"They really liked my film and they liked how I could block as well. I really like that offer."
Parkinson is an impressive-looking prospect at 6-foot-6 and 220 pounds and the 2017 prospect said he is hearing from both local schools - USC and UCLA - as well. Others could get in the mix soon with spring ball right around the corner.
It sounds like those coaching staffs want to see him during spring practice or even at summer camp but both the Trojans and Bruins have expressed interest in him so far.
"I've been getting interest from USC," Parkinson said. "I went on a visit down there and I've been talking to coach (Marques) Tuiasosopo, their tight ends coach, and he's pretty interested in me.
"I also went over to UCLA and I talked to one of their coaches and he said they've already been watching my film. They're going to come up to one of my practices and watch me run around and they might offer, too.
"They don't want to offer me solely based on my film. I think they want to come out and see me in person, see if I pass the eyeball test. They want to see me run around and run some routes."
