Parker rates NC State visit a nine

Three star offensive guard / defensive tackle Anthony Parker from Lovejoy (Ga.) took his second official visit over the weekend and was impressed with what he was shown. He gave his trip to NC State high marks, but wants to take all of his visits before making a decision.
“I just liked the players,” he commented on his trip. “They were cool.

“They are close together, like a big family. Everyone on the team is really close.” He was hosted by freshman defensive tackle John McCargo and rated the trip a nine. Although he said the trip was very similar to his trip to Indiana, Anthony said NC State was a little better.
“The academics and everything are all the same,” he explained. “I just had a little more fun with the players at NC State.”
Parker will travel to Maryland this upcoming weekend (Dec. 12), and will go to Tennessee on Jan. 16. He is unsure of where he will take his final visit, but said it would most likely be between Louisville, Mississippi State, and Georgia. He has had in-home visits with Louisville and Indiana, and NC State and Mississippi State have both been to his high school.
The 6-foot-4, 290 pound two-way starter runs the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds. He is rated the No. 43 offensive guard in America by Rivals.com.
He maintains a 2.6 GPA with an 880 on the SAT, so qualifying should not be a problem.
