Parker names two favorites

Jordan Parker does not necessarily have a frontrunner yet but he said this past weekend at the Rivals Camp Series Presented by Under Armour in Las Vegas that two schools do stand out.
USC and Arizona State hold the lead for the four-star cornerback from Pittsburg, Calif., but he has plenty of visits coming up and it doesn't sound like a decision is close.

"I spoke with all the coaches," Parker said of USC. "I just got a feel for the campus and how the coaches were. We took a tour around the facility and talked to the coaches and I kind of liked it.
"In my class they're only going after a couple DBs, one being me, and a couple other safeties. He said there's going to be competition but not a lot of people. I look at that every day and I heard they had the No. 1 signing class so that was a big deal."
Parker, rated as the No. 16 cornerback in the 2016 class by Rivals.com, has close friends at Arizona State and that could play a major factor as his recruitment continues. He also plans to play alongside four-star teammate Shurod Thompson in college and he also has the same top two.
"I do have family on that team - Derik Calhoun and Jalen Harvey," Parker said. "They tell me about it all the time and I went up there my freshman year and I fell in love with Tempe."
There are others in the running for Parker, who said UCLA stands out because he loves the coaching staff and he likes Washington because he's seen friends go there and do really well.
A trip to Oregon along with Thompson could happen soon and there's no doubt the Ducks interest both Pittsburg prospects. Parker is a close friend with former Pittsburg standout Erick Dargan.
"Coach (John) Neal told me the best players play," Parker said of Oregon. "He's not going after too many people so he said if you get there and perform you're going to play and I feel like I can get there and perform."
