Parker looking into first official
Virginia Beach (Va.) Tallwood athlete Byron Parker is looking at scheduling his first official visit. Where is the 5-foot-11, 173-pounder headed?
"I have offers from Temple and Old Dominion," he said. "I plan to take an official visit to Temple in December. Before that I'm probably going to see the game atmosphere on an unofficial in the next two weeks on November 27th or 28th."

Parker held an offer from East Carolina early on. Does he still have that scholarship?
"I do, but they have five defensive backs committed already, so I haven't heard from them as much now."
Parker is looking for a few things in a college.
"I guess I'd like a good game environment, a family atmosphere and to feel close to the coaching staff," he said. "I want to connect with the players on the team and go to a good school with a good education."
Parker and Tallwood finished the season at 4-6.
"I had a pretty good year," he said. "I was hurt most of the season, but still played through injury. I had hip, groin and tailbone injuries. I was kind of limited, but only missed one game."
