Parker hearing from others

Earlier in the season, Jordan Parker had a rush of offers and three Pac-12 schools got involved in his recruitment.
The 2016 three-star cornerback from Pittsburg, Calif., has been offered by Arizona State, UCLA and Washington State so far and at least one other Pac-12 program has reached out as well.

"It's slowed down a little bit but I'm still talking to a few coaches," Parker said. "Right now, it's mostly been Oregon State and a few others."
The 5-foot-10, 172-pound recruit who's ranked No. 28 at his position by Rivals.com is not rushing a thing in his recruitment.
He's been doing some early research on the three schools that have already offered and there are no frontrunners yet because so many other programs could get involved.
Parker said he wants to remain patient.
"I'm going to take it slow," Parker said. "I've been talking to those three schools but I'm just waiting on more offers. Not really a favorite but those are three very good schools."
Something that will be crucial in his recruitment is playing with Pittsburg teammate and close friend Shurod Thompson, a high four-star defensive back.
Parker and Thompson are really close and going to the same school has seriously been discussed.
"It's most likely going to happen," Parker said. "We definitely want to play together."
In his junior season, Parker had 32 tackles and five interceptions. At wide receiver, he finished with 264 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
