Parker excited for spring ball

Tysyn Parker could be one of the next top prospects at powerhouse Gardena (Calif.) Serra and he should have his chance to really start showing his abilities this spring and into next season.
The 2017 four-star outside linebacker has started to hear from some major programs including Oklahoma, USC, Nebraska, Duke, Utah and Colorado State and he's hoping things pick up even more in the coming weeks.

"A lot of coaches want to see me in the spring," Parker said.
"Utah is really excited about me and USC coach Tee Martin said he's going to come out to a couple spring practices and he's looking forward to seeing me run around."
Parker is a 6-foot-2, 191-pound prospect who had some impressive showings this past season at outside linebacker. For his junior season, Parker could also move to offense and play some tight end or even wide receiver which might make him an even more attractive prospect.
"I prefer linebacker but I might venture off to play some tight end or even some wide receiver," Parker said.
The coming weeks could be crucial for Parker, who looked good this past weekend at the 4th Quarter Sports 7v7.
The Serra standout said he knows plenty of college coaches will be by the school to see a bunch of top prospects and Parker wants to get noticed - and get offers.
"This is going to be the big spring for me," Parker said. "I have a lot of developing to do and then I'll have the ability to show my talent more. I'm also able to talk to a lot of coaches more often.
"It's just a little too early to know if I'm going to get any offers I feel."
