Parker-Boyd thinking QB for Tar Heels

Malvern (Pa.) Great Valley's Anthony Parker-Boyd committed to North Carolina in September. And while some have speculated Parker-Boyd would head to college as an 'athlete,' he leaves no doubt he intends to play quarterback for the Tar Heels.
"North Carolina recruited me as a quarterback," Parker-Boyd said.

Parker-Boyd had over 1000 yards passing and rushing during his senior season. He connected for 19 touchdowns.
When asked if anyone is still recruiting him, Parker-Boyd said, "Everyone has pretty much stopped. I'll make my official visit to North Carolina Jan. 13."
Parker-Boyd liked what he saw and heard from the North Carolina coaches when he visited the Tar Heels during the summer.
"I liked the way the represented themselves," Parker-Boyd said. "I got good vibes when I met the coaches. I felt at home."
Parker-Boyd is the No. 43 prospect in the state of Pennsylvania in the Rivals.com player rankings.
