Parham Torn Between Two

A very, very tough decision lies ahead for Virginia Beach (Va.) Princess Anne defensive end/linebacker Kai Parham.
"This is going to be a very hard decision," said the 6-foot-4, 230-pounder. "I really had a good time at Virginia, but I also like alot of things about Tennessee as well. I'm going to have to sit down and think about things."

So did he think about commiting on his visit to Virginia this past weekend?
"No," he said. "There are too many things to think about and talk about to make a decision on a visit. Right now I have to weigh alot of things in my head."
One major obstacle for the Cavaliers is their ability (or inability) to play for the national championship.
"Right now the two teams are on two different levels," said Parham. "Tennessee always brings in recruiting classes like Virginia is trying to bring in this year. They're also always in the hunt to win it all. My biggest question is -- can Virginia turn things around quick enough while I'm there if I choose them? I'm not sure yet."
Parham also likes the academics at Virginia and felt very comfortable on campus. However, Tennessee is quite attractive as well.
"Playing in front on 100,000 people and playing in important games every time out is what Tennessee is about," he said. "Can Virginia get to that level as early as next year? That's what I'm struggling with."
