Parham Returns From FSU

Virginia Beach (Va.) Princess Anne defensive end/linebacker Kai Parham enjoyed his trip to Florida State.
"I like it alot," said the 6-foot-4, 230-pounder who is ranked as the top weakside defensive end in the country. "Even though they lost, I had a great time at the game."

Parham says that Florida State will likely be in the running until the very end of his recruitment. So how did it compare to his unofficial trips to Virginia Tech and Virginia?
"It's very difficult to compare because an official visit is so different," he explained. "You get to spend more time with the players and coaches and get to see everything. I'll know more when I take my official visits to the other schools."
The next trip for Parham will come in November when he heads off to Florida. He's not sure of the date just yet. So does Virginia still have a slight lead for his services?
"I guess you could still say that," he said. "I really like and respect the coaches at both Virginia and Florida State. Location isn't a factor for me, so it will come down to other things."
Parham had 13 tackles and three for a loss last Friday in a loss. He is also considering official visits to Virginia, Virginia Tech, Stanford and Tennessee.
