Panhandle WR favors three

One of the top prospects from Florida's panhandle is wide receiver Kody Williams. Williams, 6-3 and 190 pounds, is from Niceville High School. Last season he had a big junior year, catching 42 passes for 995 yards and scoring 11 touchdowns through the air. Those numbers have attracted many big name schools.
"I have scholarship offers from teams like Louisville, North Carolina, Tennessee, UConn, South Florida, Maryland, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Ole Miss," Williams said. "Right now I really like three schools, Ole Miss, Louisville and UNC. I guess you could say that they are my three favorites. I am supposed to (officially) visit them this fall. They are all close to home and I think I fit in pretty well to all of their offensive schemes."

Williams, who is teammates with running back Roy Finch (Oklahoma commitment), has had a busy summer training at home in Niceville. He hasn't seen any schools or been to any camps other than a team camp at South Alabama.
"I think I have gotten faster and I am getting a better recognition of the game. I mean I know where I need to be. I know where to get in that window for my quarterback."
Niceville leaves for a 7-on-7 on Friday at Foley (Ala.) High School. He's also planning on camping at Friday Night Lights later this month with Finch.
