Panhandle TE has three offers

An emerging star in Florida's panhandle is tight end D.J. Norris from Pace High School. Norris, who is 6-foot-3, already has received three scholarship offers and it appears more may be on the way.
"I probably got 20 calls in May," Norris said. "I have offers from Troy State, East Carolina, and South Florida. Tennessee said they were going to offer but they haven't offered yet. I did get a letter from them though saying I should be receiving a scholarship offer soon. I also have Florida State and Georgia Tech interested."

Pace (Fla.) is located just north of Pensacola. D.J. has recently attended two camps and has plans for one more in July.
"I went to Central Florida's one-day camp and South Florida's one-day," Norris said. "I'll also be going to Florida State."
Norris is 6-foot-3, 240 pounds, and typically runs the forty-yard dash in 4.6 seconds. Last year he was named All-Area after catching 12 passes for 250 yards. Norris is being recruited primarily at tight end but that isn't set in stone.
"I've heard H-Back, tight end, and defensive end," Norris said.
Any favorites?
"Tennessee and Florida State are probably my top two," Norris said. "Then Georgia Tech, Central Florida, and South Florida.
"I want to go somewhere that wins. Early playing time isn't that big of a deal. I don't want to go real, real far away. Tennessee would be fine though."
D.J. Norris should have no problem qualifying with a 3.3 core grade point average and a recent score of 20 on the ACT.
