Palmetto State CB gets second offer
Rock Hill, S.C. cornerback Jonathan Hefney now has two offers to choose from, and it won't be an easy decision.
"South Carolina offered me a few weeks back so now I have USC and Tennessee," said the 5-foot-10, 172-pounder. "North Carolina and NC State also said they'd be offering me soon so it will probably come down to those four."

Hefney, who favored the Gamecocks early in the process until Tennessee offered a few months back, now says he's wide open.
"I visit USC on Jan. 17 which is their big recruiting weekend I guess," he said. "I have Tennessee on Jan. 31 and that will be my last visit. If UNC and NC State offer me in time, I'll take visits to see them as well but right now my top two are the schools that have offered."
Hefney led his team to a 15-0 record this year with more than 80 tackles and five interceptions.
