Palmetto RB has 14 offers

There’s no question that Columbia, S.C. running back Mike Davis is a special player coming out of the backfield. As a junior Davis rushed for 2,250 yards, and 25 touchdowns. He’s amassed an impressive offer list up to this point that currently totals 14.
“Maryland, South Carolina, Clemson, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Kentucky, Wake Forest, Florida, Michigan, UCLA, and Marshall are just some of the offers I’ve got right now,” explained Davis. “No one really stands out right now for me, they’re all recruiting me equally pretty hard.”

Davis can do it all on the field from carrying the mail, to returning kicks, playing defense, and even kicking the occasional field goal. In four playoff games last season, Mike nearly rushed for 1,000 yards.
Davis has tentative plans to narrow his list sometime in the fall, and will likely decide sometime after the season. He’s taking classes this summer in the hopes of graduating early in December and enrolling early next year.
What’s important to Mike in choosing a school?
“Academics always plays a part in choosing a school,” said Davis. “I’m looking to major in sports management. The atmosphere that surrounds the schools from the coaches, to the players, and to the fans is also real important.”
Davis is in the process of making some decisions on where he would like to camp and take unofficial visits throughout the rest of the summer.
