Palmetto RB getting looks

Columbia (S.C.) Richland Northeast running back Keyzelle Thomas has had a big senior season and is receiving some serious inquiries from multiple Division I-A programs.
Cavaliers assistant Duane Wages says that Duke, Wake Forest, Middle Tennessee State, Miami (Ohio) and Maryland, among others, have all called requesting film on Thomas, who currently has 995 yards (6.5 yards per carry) and 13 touchdowns rushing this season after sitting out last year because of injury.

"We're getting a lot of tape requests," Wages said. "A lot of schools are waiting on his senior film. He's very good academically and is a strong kid who can run."
The 5-foot-10, 230-pounder is on a team with several high-level prospects, including Rivals100 defensive lineman Adam Patterson and Kentucky defensive back commit Calvin Harrison in the class of 2006, along with junior prospects Mark Barnes and Gary Gray.
The Cavaliers open the first round of the South Carolina Class 4A playoffs on Friday night when they play host to Colleton County.
