Palmetto RB finishing great season

One of the most highly recruited running backs from the Palmetto State continues to roll up huge numbers and is leading his team into the playoffs. Rodney Kinlaw has a top five and while he hasn't set the dates of his officials yet, he has a pretty good idea of where he'll wind up going.
"I've carried the ball 188 times for about 1,700 yards," said Kinlaw, a 5-foot-10, 180-pound back from Goose Creek (S.C.) Stratford. "I also have about 30 touchdowns. We won our playoff game last week 50-0. I'm not sure what my stats were in that game but we had the game from early on."

Kinlaw is most prized as a running back for his speed, which is best exhibited in his legit 40-yard dash speed of 4.4 seconds. Do any schools stand out for him right now?
"I have a top five right now that includes South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Clemson, Penn State and NC State. I've got offers from those schools. Virginia Tech is probably recruiting me the hardest right now, telling me that I'll get playing time there and they love to run the ball a lot. I don't really have a leader out of those five.
"I'll probably take my five official visits to those five schools, but I'm not sure on the dates yet. That's something we need to start working out right now, come to think of it," laughed Kinlaw.
What will be the biggest factors in Kinlaw's decision?
"Of course the visits will leave an impression on me. Other than that the two biggest things so far have been the environments of the schools and football programs and the coaching. All those schools have impressed me so far in those areas, but I think one or two will start to stand out before too long."
