Palmetto junior putting up big numbers

Greenville (S.C.) wide receiver Tony Curtis could be one of the Palmetto State's top receiver prospects in the class of 2008.
The 5-foot-10, 170-pounder has put up huge numbers, catching 37 passes for 785 yards and 10 touchdowns through seven games.

Thus far, recruiting has been slow for Curtis
"I haven't heard from any colleges," Curtis said. "But I've been filling some questionnaires and things like that."
Curtis has filled out questionnaires for Virginia Tech and Georgia. He grew up following an in-state program.
"I grew up watching a lot of South Carolina football," Curtis said.
He plans to get his name out this spring and summer.
"I probably will end up going to some camps," he said.
Curtis believes a couple of factors make him a Division I-A prospect at wide receiver.
"I go hard all the time in practice and everything," he said.
