Palmetto ATH is wide open

Athlete David Sims did it all last year for St. Matthews (S.C.) Calhoun County and he'll be called upon to carry a big load this fall as well.
Sims already holds offers from Alabama, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Wake Forest. What are his plans for the near future?

"I plan on going to the Alabama junior day (Saturday, March 8)," Sims said. "Then I plan on going to Georgia Tech's spring practice the week after that I think."
Does he have a favorite at the moment?
"No sir, I'm wide open. I'm just going to look at everybody before I make a decision."
Several other schools may decide to offer Sims before the summer. In addition to the schools that have offered he has received interest from Clemson, NC State and Notre Dame.
As a junior at Calhoun County he passed for 1,700 yards and 18 touchdowns while also rushing for 850 yards. Defensively he recorded 35 tackles and four interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns.
