Palmer coming home a Wildcat

Spring, Texas, three-star linebacker Ronnie Palmer is beginning to make his way home from his official visit to Arizona. Could he be coming home a Wildcat?
“I haven’t committed yet,” Palmer, who is 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds, said. “But Arizona is definitely at the top of my list now and it’s really down to Arizona and Georgia Tech. I don’t think I’m going to take my other visits. I’m really pumped about what’s going on at Arizona.”

Palmer said he felt great about what’s going on at Arizona already with new coach Mike Stoops leading the way.
“A lot of the players are from Houston, so that made it feel really comfortable to me,” he said. “I also liked the coaches and the scenery. Coach Stoops is a defensive coach, so that’s something that I really would like to play for.”
While Palmer hasn’t officially popped yet, he said two others on the visit did commit.
“Yaniv Barnett committed this morning,” Palmer said. “And McCollins Umeh just committed a few minutes ago before he left for home. Big MC was committed to Kansas State, but they got him to switch this weekend. It would be great to play with guys like that.”
