Palm Bay twins like Florida schools

Palm Bay High School in Brevard County is absolutely loaded with Division I-A talent this year. Many recruiting fans have probably heard about the likes of Joe Cohen and Reggie Nelson, but a set of identical twins -- Eric Miller and Thomas Miller -- are also poised to make quite a splash this year. The pair will be looking to attend a school together.
FlaRecruiting.com recently caught up with both Eric and Thomas Miller to see what's been going on in the recruiting process. Both said they each received numerous calls during the month of May

"We got a lot of phone calls from colleges," Eric Miller said. "We had phone calls from Florida, UCF, Alabama, North Carolina, Illinois, Northern Illinois, Bowling Green, Indiana, UConn, and some small schools like FIU and FAU."
The brothers also picked up their first scholarship offers.
"We got offers from Indiana, Northern Illinois, and FIU," Eric Miller said.
Both players played primarily cornerback last season, but each expects to see added time at wide receiver in 2002. They are being recruited to play both.
"Last year I played cornerback and safety both," said Thomas Miller, who had over 70 tackles and one inteception last year on defense. "I'm 6-3 and run a 4.41 so I'll play wide receiver this year too. Most of the schools want me to play wide receiver but Florida says DB."
"I'll play wide receiver or defensive back," said Eric Miller, who recorded over 60 tackles and three interceptions last season. "Some colleges want me to play defensive back and others want me to play receiver. Thomas plays on one side at corner and I play on the other side at corner."
The brothers are roughly the same size. Eric is 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds and Thomas is 6-foot-3 and a quarter and 194 pounds.
Ideally, the brothers would love to attend a college in their home state of Florida.
"Florida is my favorite school," Eric said. "Florida first, then Central Florida, Miami, and FSU. I think we both want to try and stay in Florida."
Added Thomas: "I want to stay in Florida. Probably the Gators are my favorite and FSU has always been one of my favorite schools. Florida, Miami, and FSU."
Not surprisingly, Thomas said his favorite football player is defensive back Ronde Barber of Tampa Bay. Ronde's twin brother is Tiki Barber, a running back for the NY Giants.
