Pair of offers come for 2007 Texas OL

Some future college stars start their recruiting processes during the late spring months and early summer. Richardson (Texas) Berkner offensive guard Josh LeRibeus is not going slow by any means.
The first two offers have already come in writing for the 6-foot-4, 303-pound lineman and it doesn't look he'll be stopping there with talk of more that could possibly come before month's end.

"Boston College and Baylor have offered in writing," LeRibeus said. "I have some verbal offers I'm waiting on from Houston and Oklahoma State. I didn't expect this at all. I thought I'd have to wait until my senior year. That's what I figured would happen."
"But they just started coming a lot earlier."
LeRibeus, who describes himself as "very physical" player who "finishes off every play" is also hearing from Texas Tech and Texas A&M. He took an unofficial visit last year to one of the Aggies' football games and to Texas Tech last year for camp.
There are no current favorites and LeRibeus is just looking for every opportunity that is out there at this juncture.
"Baylor had been around the school, so I kind of figured that one might happen," LeRibeus said. "But Boston College came out of left field. It's exciting."
Again, there are no top teams on his list. However, the trip to see A&M last year definitely is still fresh in his mind.
"I just liked that experience the most," he said. "It's just their facilities and everything. Plus, their fans are incredible. It's just a great time going out there."
This summer, the plans are open. The big-sized prospect would like to take in two camps.
"I haven't decided on those yet," he said. "There are a lot of junior days in early March, but I can't decide which ones to go to. I'm looking at OSU, Baylor, and Texas Tech right now."
