Pahokee sleeper could commit soon

So far four-star running back Antone Smith has dominated the headlines in Pahokee, Florida, but there is another prospect on the squad that boasts some impressive Division I offers and is moving up the charts quickly in safety wide receiver Shaheim Blacknall.
“So far I have offers from Rutgers, Northern Illinois, Tulane, Duke and Wake Forest,” Blacknall said. “Florida Atlantic, Florida International and South Florida are recruiting me really hard, but they have not offered yet.”

Blacknall is a 5-foot-11, 170-pound workout monster who has a 265-pound bench press and 315-pound squat. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.45 seconds.
“My top schools are Northern Illinois, Duke, South Florida, Florida International, Florida Atlantic, Tulane and Wake Forest,” Blacknall said. “Florida Atlantic and Florida International are both really high on my list because they are good schools and close to home.”
As a junior he helped lead his team to a state title, while racking up 50 tackles, recovering four fumbles and breaking up 10 passes.
“Right now my favorite is Northern Illinois,” Blacknall said. “I haven’t committed yet, but I am thinking really hard about it. It is a really good school and they had a great year last year. Anytime you beat a teams like Alabama and Maryland it is going to earn you a lot of respect.”
He is also fully qualified academically with a 3.3 GPA and has scored a 910 on the SAT.
