Paging Chan Gailey

Buford, Ga., dual-threat quarterback Kyle Manley has been a heavy Georgia Tech lean since he was offered a scholarship in mid-September. After weeks of thinking about committing it looks like the time is here.
“Actually, I’m going to call coach (Chan) Gailey tonight and commit to him,” Manley, a two-star quarterback that is 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds, said. “I’ve been talking to the coaches there for quite some time and wanting to get this over with. I guess the timing is right.”

Manley was also recruited by Cal, Duke and Stanford. He has a top 40-yard dash of 4.84 seconds and is equally dangerous as a passer and a runner. He threw for 1,200 yards as a junior and has helped his team to a perfect record this season.
“I’m much more polished than I was last season,” Manley said. “I’ve had some pretty strong games and a couple of average games, but I’m a little bit better at reading defenses and I’m a lot more accurate.”
