Page sets up first trip

San Leandro (Calif.) cornerback Jerrod Page says he now has three primary teams which are receiving his attention.
“I really like USC, UCLA and Washington,” Page said. “Those are my top three. There are some, like Arizona State, Colorado and Illinois, that I talk to, but I want to stay out West I think.”

Page has two interceptions on the season. He also starts at running back and has rushed for more than 300 yards and four touchdowns this campaign. San Leandro is 3-0 and ranked No. 20 in the state by one poll.
Page has scheduled one official visit – to UCLA on Dec. 14. He says he’s certain he’ll be scheduling visits with the Huskies and Trojans soon.
Another visit may materialize between Colorado and Illinois. Both schools are trying to get him to their respective campus on Dec. 7. But the Buffs and Illini are fighting an uphill battle.
“I don’t see leaving the West Coast for me. I have all of these great offers out here and all of the coaches I talk to are cool.”
Page is the No. 4-ranked cornerback in the country and the No. 1 cornerback in the state of California by Rivals100.com. He is 6-foot, 195 pounds and ran a 4.5-second 40-yard dash at a NIKE camp this summer.
