Page makes up his mind

Jarrad Page, the 6-foo-t-1, 190-pound defensive back out of San Leandro, Calif., called Pac10Recruiting.com Monday evening to report that he had made his decision. The decision came down to three schools – UCLA, Washington and Oregon.
"I'm going to UCLA" Page said.

"I liked UW and Oregon a lot, even though Oregon didn't have baseball. But it seemed right that I should go to UCLA. I feel more comfortable there and since my brother graduated from there, I know a lot about the school and what it has to offer me."
Page says he is certain he will not be red-shirting and feels that he may be able to compete for a high spot in the rotation.
"I had the UCLA coaches at my school today and then I called Coach Toledo and told him,” Page said. “He was happy about it. My parents are happy about it too."
Page was recruited to play free safety, and will also be available to play baseball if he can, which is his second love.
