Pace lands two more offers

Avon Lake, Ohio, offensive guard Christian Pace is already thought of as one of the top players in the city of Cleveland and in Ohio for the class of 2010.
Now the 6-foot-4, 270-pounder is starting to get the types of offers that a big-timer gets.

Pace, who competed recently at the U.S. Army All-America Combine, picked up two offers on Thursday to go along with an earlier offer from Buffalo.
"I was offered by Toledo and N.C. State," Pace, who has a 3.3 grade-point average and a 325-pound bench press, said.
Pace is also getting recruited by Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan State, Northwestern, Stanford and other Midwest programs.
He said he was pumped up for the first BCS offer and from a good program like N.C. State.
"I'm very excited about the offer," Pace said.
"N.C. State is an ACC program, and it's a great offer to get early on. I'm also excited about the Toledo offer, too."
