Skinny: Gianelli will also play some defensive tackle his senior season, but he projects as offensive lineman on the D-I level.
Gianelli is a very durable player who started every game as a junior and played quite a bit as a sophomore. He is a physical, aggressive and dominating offensive lineman plays until the whistle blows. He stays on his blocks and is very quick off the ball.
“Chris is a power player,” Peninsula head coach Tony Uruburu said. “He’s built like one and plays like one.”
Peninsula is well known for sending trenchmen to the D-I level and Gianelli has the goods to be another one.
Gianelli is one of four D-I prospects who will be suiting up for Peninsula this season.
