Pac-12 visit impresses RB

Demario Richard is planning some official visits but the Palmdale, Calif., running back just returned from Washington and raved about the trip.
The three-star standout who rushed for about 1,900 yards with 24 touchdowns in his junior season is highly interested in the Huskies especially after seeing the new stadium and experiencing the game-day environment.

"I just got back from Washington," Richard said.
"I went to the Boise State game. I saw all the new facilities and I was on the new field. The atmosphere is great. It's like the SEC of the West. They're 80,000 strong so it was loud and I loved the way they ran their offense. It was a good experience."
Richard, who reportedly is looking at visits to West Virginia and Tennessee as well, is planning a trip to Arizona State probably for sometime in October with Sun Devils commit Manny Wilkins. No date has been finalized yet. ASU is one of the favorites but Richard said there is no leader at this point.
"I don't have a No. 1," Richard said. "They're just up there."
Michigan State is the latest offer for Richard, rated as the No. 51 running back in the 2014 class by Rivals.com, and a trip to East Lansing is being seriously considered later this season. There's a chance he can see one of the Big Ten's best rivalries.
"That's an option for sure," Richard said of the Spartans. "They want me to come up there when they play Michigan. I want to talk to my parents so we can set that official."
No other visits are scheduled now but Richard said he wants to get more recruited by USC. He's trying to take a trip to USC soon and is hopeful the coaching staff gets more involved in the coming weeks.
