Pac-12 trip coming for Williams

FULLERTON, Calif. - Four-star quarterback Troy Williams plans to visit Washington within a few weeks and then the Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne standout could be closer to making his decision.
Washington, Arizona, Arizona State, UCLA and Florida are all being seriously considered by Williams, rated as the fourth-best pro-style quarterback and No. 71 prospect in the 2013 class by Rivals.com.

After his trip to Seattle, Williams will have visited all the schools he's seriously considering except for Florida. He said a trip there could happen before his decision but if not the Gators would not be out of the running.
"I'm kind of anxious but I have to take my time with it and make sure I make the right decision," Williams said this past weekend at the Passing Down SoCal 7on7 Regional.
"I'll probably be heading to Washington in about three weeks for sure so I'll see what they look like and then I'll have my decision from there.
"I'll be a lot more comfortable especially knowing what these schools have to offer and what I can do with myself and how I can prepare myself for whichever school I go to."
Williams, who threw for 3,247 yards with 34 touchdowns and 11 interceptions last season, was supposed to visit Washington for its junior day but couldn't work out the travel.
Soon, the four-star who rushed for 587 yards and 11 scores is headed up to see what the Huskies are about and he's excited.
"I want to see what the quarterback depth chart is looking like," Williams said. "(Steve) Sarkisian is a great coach and he's put a lot of great quarterbacks out so it would be a great opportunity to go there."
No decision time has been finalized but Williams said he still plans to make his commitment before his senior season.
Next up is the Washington trip and then the Harbor City Narbonne prospect could be ready to decide.
"I'll probably sit down with my dad, talk about it and decide what's best for me," Williams said.
