Maurice McKnight just wrapped up his senior season last week, but his recruitment is still heating up.
The San Bernardino (Calif.) Arroyo Valley defensive back remains committed to San Jose State, but he said two Pac-12 programs have reached out recently and have shown a good amount of interest in recent weeks.
"I'm hearing more from Oregon State and Cal," McKnight said. "They haven't offered yet, but they're talking about it."
That would definitely be interesting for McKnight, a 6-foot, 170-pound three-star cornerback who had been previously committed to San Diego State.
The Arroyo Valley standout said neither Oregon State nor Cal has discussed an offer yet, but he's feeling good about his chances moving forward.
"They said they want to see my film and get to know me a little better," McKnight said. "They said they're going to evaluate me and then they'll decide."
As Oregon State and Cal figure out what the next step will be, McKnight said he remains committed to San Jose State.
USC and others are also showing preliminary interest but the three-star prospect wants to stick with his decision until he can at least figure out what the other programs are going to do and whether more offers are coming.
"I'm still committed to San Jose," McKnight said.
