Pac-12 team interests Dorton

Malik Dorton had an impressive junior season and now the Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco defensive end hopes to hear from more programs.
One Pac-12 team in particular is on that list and Dorton said even with coaching changes Oregon would be a team he hopes gets involved in his recruitment soon.

"I would like for Oregon to start contacting me," Dorton said. "I just think they have good things going on there and they're going to have a great team in the future."
So far, the 6-foot-3, 227-pound four-star prospect has received offers from Arizona State, Oregon State, UCLA, Utah and Utah State.
There is early interest coming in from Florida - he's heard a lot from the Gators - and Michigan among other teams but Dorton said recently that his recruitment has been pretty quiet.
The 2014 standout is sending out film but because college coaches are probably more focused on wrapping up this recruiting class things have slowed down a little bit.
"My coaches have been sending out film and stuff like that but as far as everything else it's been basically the same thing," Dorton said. "I'm kind of hearing from the same teams.
"Florida keeps showing a lot of interest and I sent my film off to them but I haven't heard much yet."
This week, Bellflower St. John Bosco teammate Jaleel Wadood committed to Arizona State and Dorton noted on social media he could be next to commit.
Whether that happens or not is unknown but UCLA has been considered one of his favorites throughout the recruiting process.
