Pac-12 standouts for Hilinski

Tyler Hilinski had a productive summer including an impressive showing at the Rivals250 Underclassmen Challenge in Texas last weekend and two Pac-12 programs are particularly standing out early on.
The Upland, Calif., 2015 quarterback said Washington and Arizona State especially impressed him this summer and he's anticipating some possible offers early in his junior season.

"Arizona State and Washington definitely stood out," Hilinski said. "I really love coach (Marques Tuiasosopo) when we went to camp at Washington. He said they just have to wait for some film and I should be getting an offer.
"Coach (Mike) Norvell at ASU is a really good guy. I went to their camp last year and I've kept in contact with him and he's a good guy. I'd really love to play for him. My grandparents live in Arizona so it would be awesome."
No offers have come in yet for Hilinski, who transferred to Upland from Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame for his junior season, but the Sun Devils hinted one could be close.
Upland opens its season on Aug. 30 at Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei and the Arizona State coaches have apparently told Hilinski an offer could be considered after that matchup.
That would be huge for the 2015 quarterback.
"Arizona State gave me an unofficial (offer) is what coach Norvell called it," Hilinski said.
"He said after we play Mater Dei I should get one. We're just waiting for game film and all that. I'm excited to play this year. We live in Claremont and I'm at Upland so it's like I'm back at home."
