LONG BEACH, Calif. – Two Pac-12 schools are pursuing Tyric LeBeauf the hardest but one has still not offered the three-star defensive back.

“It’s UCLA and Washington State mostly,” LeBeauf said.

“I get hit up from them all the time. Washington State has already offered me so they just want me to come up. UCLA wants to watch my first three games so we’ll see what happens.”

So far, the Long Beach (Calif.) Poly standout has been offered by Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Rutgers, San Jose State, Utah, Washington State and Wyoming.

LeBeauf was at the Texas-USC game on Saturday, is planning to visit UCLA soon and he’s definitely hoping for an offer from the Bruins.

The Long Beach Poly defensive back said it would be tough to turn down UCLA if he receives an offer soon.

“It’s just home,” LeBeauf said. “There’s nothing like home. I’ve been looking at them since I was a kid, them and some other Pac-12 schools.”

One of the other Pac-12 programs that LeBeauf has kept an eye on is Washington. He even visited Seattle, loved the program and there’s no doubt the Huskies would be a big-time player in his recruitment if an offer comes through.

Teammate Aashari Crosswell, a four-star defensive back, is hoping to visit Washington soon as well and going to school there with LeBeauf would be a big consideration.

LeBeauf loved his recent trip to Washington.

“I saw a lot of people like myself, dogs, long and tall corners,” LeBeauf said. “I like the DB coach, coach (Jimmy) Lake a lot, too.”
