Pac-12 school pushing Arizona commit

Darick Holmes has been committed to Arizona since late March and he's completely happy with his decision but one other Pac-12 school has captured his attention.
"It's a pretty firm commitment but I'm also talking to Washington," Holmes said. "You never know what's going to happen so I'm keeping my options open."

The three-star athlete from Newbury Park, Calif., who already has 34 receptions for 572 yards and nine touchdowns this season seems like a perfect fit in Arizona's spread offense.
Holmes said that's one of the big reasons why he committed to the Wildcats - plus he loves the coaching staff in Tucson - but he's not prepared to completely shut out the Huskies just yet.
Those two programs are mainly vying for Holmes' services although his commitment to Arizona definitely still stands.
"That's a big reason why I committed there so early because the offense fits me very well and I love the coaching staff over there," Holmes said. "When I was on campus I just fell in love with it."
Holmes, who is perfect working in the slot and taking short passes to the end zone because of his speed and elusiveness, has been committed to Arizona since early in the off-season.
He loves everything about the program but Washington still intrigues him and he wants to take a closer look as National Signing Day gets closer.
"I like it over there because of the academics and I have family over there, too," Holmes said. "They've been recruiting me hard, too, so we'll see what happens. It's really only those two that I'm looking at."
