Pac-12 power interested in Daniels

Darrell Daniels is hearing more from USC and before the Oakley (Calif.) Freedom four-star receiver narrows his list he wants to camp there this summer to see if the Trojans offer.
"I like them a lot," Daniels said.

"They haven't talked about an offer but they want to see me at summer camp so I'm going to go to Rising Stars. That would be huge. That would be a great offer. I like it down there so we'll see how that goes.
"I'm still working on narrowing it down. It depends on how USC goes and then we'll see what happens."
Daniels, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound prospect who's rated No. 13 at his position and No. 170 overall by Rivals.com, recently picked up an offer from Cal and visited there this past weekend for its spring game.
The trip went well and Daniels said he was especially impressed with how the Golden Bears' offense was running.
"It was nice up there," Daniels said. "I got a good view of the offense and how they run things and I got to talk with coach (Jeff) Tedford. I liked what I saw."
One of the aspects of recruiting that Daniels is keeping a close eye on is where his friends are going to college.
The Oakley Freedom standout said he has talked with Michael Hutchings and others about the next level and playing together would be a neat proposition.
Whether it happens is still undetermined but Daniels said it is something he's considering as his recruitment continues.
"It's very important," Daniels said. "If we could all go to school together it will be great. We've talked about it, which schools we like, but it's not too serious yet."
In total, Daniels has offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Auburn, Cal, Colorado, Michigan, Nebraska, Nevada, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Washington and Washington State.
