Pac-12 offers for sophomore RB

Port Arthur (Texas) Memorial 2016 running back Kameron Martin already has the full attention of college coaches. Offers have already come in from Akron, Baylor, Colorado, Texas Tech, and Utah.
The 5-foot-9, 165-pound all-purpose back recently added his third Pac-12 offer from the Washington State Cougars. It was an offer he thought might be coming, but until this week it was yet to be placed on the table.

"It's pretty good because one of our players is already up there. His name is Darius Lemora," Martin said. "He signed with them last year in the 2013 class. He told me it's a great program. He said when they played Oregon…he said the Pac-12 is the real deal. That's pretty good to get a Pac-12 offer this young."
Martin is grateful for all of his opportunities, and continues to put in the work to improve his game.
"It's just a blessing to keep getting offers," Martin said. "I remember in one point and time I was begging schools for offers and wishing schools would come by as a freshman. God has been good and I pray every night and just ask him to keep blessing me and I'm just being humble with it."
He may not have to wait long for another blessing. Mississippi State has also stepped up its interest in his talents.
"The coach added me as a friend on Twitter and I sent him my highlight film," Martin said. "He said, 'We already know you're a baller stud.' He said, 'Come be a Bulldog.' I told him I had some more offers and he said, 'Man, I already know. Come be a Bulldog and join the family.'"
The standout running back continues to receive interest from the likes of Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas, and Missouri. He does not claim a favorite at this time.
