The list of suitors for Denver Mullen tight end Ryan Hewitt continues to grow.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound prospect already has scholarship offers from Stanford and Washington State, and now he's added another Pac 10 offer to his resume.
"I received a verbal offer from Arizona state a few weeks ago, but I then received the written offer in the mail last Monday," Hewitt said.
"I'm very excited about the offer. Arizona State is a very good Pac 10 program that I think is really up and coming."
Hewitt said other schools are also showing heavy interest.
He's looking hard at Cal, Notre Dame, UCLA and Washington. Kansas State, Vanderbilt and Tennessee are other schools that are interested in him.
Hewitt was named honorable mention all-Centennial League last fall after he hauled in 12 passes.
"I think my blocking and my ability to get open and catch the ball are my best attributes," he said.
