Pac 10 finally shows Cali DB some love

It seems every week, a new offer comes in for Long Beach Poly (Calif.) defensive back Herman Davidson. Surprisingly, none off those offers were from the schools in his own backyard but that changed Tuesday night.
Davidson, 6-2, 215 pounds is a fast rising safety who just helped the Jackrabbits to the Pac 5 CIF title. The athlete is a tremendous hitter who runs well and is always around the ball.

Despite offers from major programs like Miami, North Carolina and Michigan, Davidson was still waiting for his first Pac 10 offer.
"Arizona State offered me last night," Davidson said. "I was wondering when it was going to come but I'm very excited about it and will set up a visit there shortly. Coach Lubbick will be coming in for a home visit tonight so I could set up something at that time.
"I've already visited Michigan and North Carolina and have Miami set for (Jan. 18). I'm definitely taking all five but I'm keeping that last trip open right now. I just want to see if any new schools come and offer and I'll pick a 5th visit from one of those if it happens."
