Pac-10 favorite for Taylor

Kendyl Taylor is really excited about his newest offer from Notre Dame but the Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton athlete has a favorite in the Pac-10 and he's planning a trip to Washington in early June to see if he likes it enough to commit.
The Huskies are out in front for Taylor, a 5-foot-11, 190-pound recruit who rushed for 784 yards and nine touchdowns and also caught 48 passes for 713 yards and five scores to help lead Hamilton to an undefeated season as a junior.

"Washington has been recruiting me from Day 1," Taylor said. "I've seen the coaches two or three times at spring ball and I talk to them every week. They're putting out a lot of effort but I'm still open.
"If it feels right at Washington and I like the campus and the atmosphere it's a possibility. I'm still keeping options open but if it feels right I could commit when I'm there."
Notre Dame is a big offer for Taylor, who also has Arizona State, Stanford and Washington State on his list, and so the Chandler Hamilton recruit is strongly considering the Irish as well.
Even though he hasn't set up any visit to South Bend yet there is a lot of excitement about that offer and Notre Dame's football tradition.
"To be noticed by them, just the history that goes back, and the coaching staff has been on me, it's an honor to be noticed by someone all the way out there and to be one of the selected few," Taylor said.
"I really like the tradition. There is so much tradition there. They've been successful for quite a while so it's just awesome to finally get an offer from them. It's not my only big offer but they have a dominating tradition."
June is filled up with passing league tournaments and his trip to Washington so Taylor is not sure when or if he can visit Notre Dame. He is interested in the Irish though so he's considering a trip to Notre Dame maybe sometime in July.
"I think I'm getting closer, not necessarily looking at only one school, but the whole recruiting process and getting to know the coaches, I've gotten a lot closer to them and I'm starting to figure out where I'm at with everything," Taylor said.
