PA sleeper QB begins to get interest

West Grove (Pa.) Avon Grove quarterback Clay Sauer is beginning to pick up interest. The 6-foot-4, 186-pounder has at least a couple schools already checking him out.
"I'm just getting some letters and staying in touch with coaches," he said. "Most of my letters so far are from Toledo and Virginia. The only visit I have planned so far is to Villanova for camp in late June."

Sauer is under the radar as he was the backup quarterback for Avon Grove last year.
What is the Keystone State prospect looking for in a college?
"I just want to play ball there," he said. "I want to go to a place I can play and not just sit on the bench. I also want to get a good education. It'd be nice to stay in the northeast too. I think I-AA is more likely, but if I can go Division I, I will."
Sauer is also a pitcher on the baseball team that throws an 82 mile per hour fast ball.
This summer Sauer plans to participate in a couple showcases in Pennsylvania including June 9th at West Chester University.
