PA receiver names top five

Lancaster (Pa.) Conestoga Valley wide receiver Stephen Smalls caught close to 40 passes for over 800 yards and nine touchdowns during his junior season. For his work Smalls was an all-conference selection as well as conference receiver of the year.
The 6-foot-2 and 180 pound Smalls is also a track standout. He has run a 10.63 second 100 meters and a 22.0 200.

Smalls is drawing interest from plenty of recruiters, but knows he must take care of things academically too.
"I don't have any offers yet," Smalls said. "Schools are waiting for more academic information to come in."
"Syracuse, Indiana, U. Conn, and Hofstra visited my school. And I talked on the phone with North Carolina."
"I'm looking at a lot of schools, but if I had to name a top five I'd say Maryland, North Carolina, Michigan, Michigan State, and Virginia Tech."
"This summer I'll probably go to Maryland camp for a day, and some others. Maryland is one of my top choices right now. But I'm looking at a lot of schools to see what they have to offer."
