PA quarterback names leader

Harrison City (Pa.) Penn-Trafford quarterback Tyler Huether took in a one-day camp at West Virginia at the beginning of June. What did the 6-foot-0, 180-pounder think of the visit and where did it put the Mountaineers in the hunt for the young gunslinger?
"I really liked it down there. Everything about the campus was amazing, all the facilities and coaching staff were good," he said. "I really like all the coaches and they really helped you out."

After the visit, Huether lists the Mountaineers very high on his list.
"I would say West Virginia is my top school right now because I really liked it when I went down there," he said. "Temple Pittsburgh, Toledo and Akron are also in my top five now."
Currently Temple is the only school to offer Huether. What does the quarterback like about the other schools in his top five?
"I camped at Akron and the coaching staff there was good and everything was really nice," he said. "I really like Toledo and how they throw the ball a lot and run the offense. That especially appeals to me and that's how I play in high school now.
"I like Pittsburgh just because it's my hometown team. I really like the coaching staff there and I went to one of their junior days and I was able to talk to all the coaches."
Huether already knows two schools he plans to take official visits to.
"I'll definitely be going to West Virginia because I'm impressed with them," Huether said. "I'll probably take one to Temple too since they have offered me."
Huether is currently conditioning and running in preparation for next season.
"I just want to have a good season next year," he said. "I really want to improve on my speed so that I can be a little bit quicker. That would help me if anything happens in the pocket, I can better avoid defenders and get a step ahead of them."
Huether threw for 2,209 yards, 21 touchdowns and six interceptions as he was named first team All-Quad East and a part of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Fabulous 22.
