PA quarterback has a clear favorite

Philadelphia (Pa.) Roman Catholic quarterback Chris Johnson appears to have a clear favorite. In fact, the 6-foot-1, 205-pounder believes he may commit to the school as soon as he visits.
"I told Buffalo I'm about ready to commit," he said. "I just have to go on a visit there first.

"I think I want to go there because they play in the spread and would get the ball in my hands. They'll let me run around and be a playmaker. I'll also get the chance to play as a true freshman. I would like to take that chance."
Johnson confirmed with the Buffalo staff that the earliest official would be on December 1st. At this time, the two-star prospect hasn't scheduled the trip.
Johnson maintains he will continue to look at other schools including Boston College and Temple in the meantime, both have offered.
Meanwhile, on the season Johnson has helped his team to an 8-1 record.
"I think we have improved as the season went on," he said. "I've got a great supporting cast and guys are stepping up to make this a good team. We've come real close like a family.
"I think I have about 900-yards passing and 12 touchdowns. I just started getting my numbers in the past five games. My quarterback coach helped me a lot with my footwork, army strength and throwing motion. I've improved on all that stuff."
