PA lineman claims a leader

Wilkes-Barre (Pa.) Hanover Area offensive guard Brian Clarke recently took a handful of visits to schools looking for his first offer. The 6-foot-2, 280-pounder still hasn't added an offer, but now does claim a favorite.
"I was down to Pittsburgh, Penn State, Temple and Connecticut," he said . "Those visits were nice. I really liked Temple. Coach Golden is changing the type of football there.

"In relation to offers, all of those schools are just telling me to continue to get quicker and better this season. They want to see how I do my senior year and then go from there.
"I think the problem is I'm 6-foot-2 and they want to see if I grow more."
Currently one school leads for the Keystone State lineman.
"Connecticut is sticking out," he said. "Their campus was real nice and I liked the area up there. It's really beautiful."
