PA LBs getting interest

Chester, Pa. is home to two 2007 prospects in linebacker Rashoun Holmes and defensive tackle Lamar Potts. Both players are getting looks from mid-major Division I schools at the moment.
The 6-foot-2, 275-pound Potts just finished his second year of playing high school football.

"He is a very talented lineman that works hard everyday," Chester head coach Willie Bates said. "His upside is his work ethic as he hits the weight room every day. He is still raw and hasn't played a lot on the defensive line as even last year he was on offense for us."
Currently schools including Temple, Akron, Toledo, Ohio and some I-AA schools are showing an interest in the lineman prospect.
Potts teammate, 5-foot-9, 215-pound Rashoun Holmes is a talented undersized linebacker.
"He may be small, but he plays big," he said. "Rashoun is a hardnosed guy that runs well sideline to sideline and knows how to make the tackle. He has been a three year starter on the varsity level for us and has the ability to move to safety or fullback in college. Obviously teams are going to be turned off by his height and honestly I don't see him growing much more."
Last season Holmes registered an outstanding 155 tackles as he was named third team all-state.
Schools including Akron, Toledo, Temple, Ohio, Marshall and others are showing interest at this time.
