PA kicker begins to receive looks

Colleges are beginning to take notice of Quakertown, Pa. kicker Jordan Waxman. The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder claims that two schools recruiting him are currently standing out for his services.
"I'm getting recruited by Kent, Boston College, Cincinnati, Lehigh, Pittsburgh, Richmond, Rutgers, Temple and others," he said. "Rutgers and Kent State are the two I like the most.

"I like Rutgers because I've met the coaches and they are pretty nice, also my mom teaches there. As for Kent, they just contacted me recently and I'm interested in visiting there."
The all-state and all-league prospect went on to talk about what he is looking for in a school.
"I hope they have a scholarship for me," he said. "Aside from that, I guess I'm looking for a good athletic program and good school. Location doesn't really matter at all to me."
Last season Waxman made eight of ten field goals with a long of 37-yards.
"One of my misses was in muddy conditions and the other I just missed; it was wide by a foot from 44-yards. I also punt and averaged 36-yards a kick there."
Besides football, the Keystone State kicker is getting looks on the diamond.
"I'm getting recruited by a couple schools, West Virginia and Rutgers as a pitcher," he said. "Right now I don't have a preference on what sport I want to play, it'd be cool to do both though."
