PA junior Marks begins to get interest

2009 running back Aaron Marks is beginning to pick up interest from colleges. The Harrisburg (Pa.) Central Dauphin East prospect is getting looks from the ACC, Big Ten and Big East.
"Recruiting is going ok so far," he said. "I still need to take a lot more visits. I'm looking at going to Georgia Tech and I want to visit Virginia.

"So far I'm getting mail from Illinois, West Virginia, Syracuse, Georgia Tech and Purdue regularly."
A couple schools have caught Marks attention early on.
"I grew up a fan of Penn State. I went to their camp and liked it up there," he said. "I like Georgia Tech a lot too. I've always been a fan of their team. They play good teams and I can get a good education."
What is Marks looking for in a college?
"Education for one is big," he said. "Once I leave college, I want to get a good job. The whole atmosphere there is also big along with where it is located and the opportunity to play. I don't want to go somewhere if I'm not going to play that much. I would also prefer to go south."
The 5-foot-10, 178-pounder posted 616-yards rushing and six touchdowns in just seven games this year.
"It was a good season," he said. "I also played cornerback, but teams never threw my way.
"I think I'm a good athlete with solid speed. I just have to work on my ability and weight. I need to get a lot heavier."
