PA junior holding in-state offer

The last couple of months have been a memorable time for junior wide receiver Trenton Coles of Clairton (Pa.). He has helped lead his team to the state championship game this weekend, and in the process has recently reeled in his first offer.
"Recruiting is good, it's just so new for me," said Coles. "Pitt has offered and I'm getting interest from Notre Dame, Michigan State and Purdue."

With his offer being rather recent, Coles is still in the process of learning about the Pitt program and school.
"I think Pitt's program is ok," said Coles, who is 6-foot-3 and 174 pounds. "I really don't know anything about the school, but the campus is nice."
Coles was first noticed by the Pitt coaching staff at their summer camp, and returned this fall for their game against Miami.
"It was nice, but they lost," said Coles. "It was a very energetic atmosphere."
With Pitt being his only visit to this point, Coles hopes to hit the road this winter and spring and check out Ohio State, USC, Florida State and Georgia.
On the field this fall, Coles lined up at wide receiver and cornerback at Clairton.
"The season is going great," said Coles. "We will be playing in the state championship game on the 17th against Riverside."
